THE QUEST FOR THE GOLDEN KEYS:
A Medieval Fantasy Quest That Comes To You!
The king of Fillbury has been locked away by an evil wizard. Hidden throughout the land are the golden keys needed to unlock his shackles and free him, but beware! He is also being guarded by a ferocious dragon that must be slayed to protect the kingdom. Will your team of mighty warriors locate the keys and slay the dragon to free the king and save Fillbury, or will the Wizard lock him away forever and control the land with his dragon?
The Quest For The Golden Keys is a family friendly event with both mental and physical puzzle games that is brought to you! This event is perfect for all types of events from birthday parties and backyard barbecues to school field days and corporate team building events.
The standard Quest consists of 6 riddle stations and 6 physical challenge stations but it can easily be altered and reduced to fit your events needs! Enjoy these fun physical challenge stations and choose your own adventure with different age appropriate riddle options.
Goblet Hole: similar to corn hole where players toss bean bags into a hole from a distance.
Mug Slide: an 8ft table where you slide a mug trying to get it onto the target.
Broken Crest: a set of 3 crests that have been ‘broken’ and you need to reassemble them like a puzzle.
Jousting ring toss: a ring toss where you and another play try and catch rings with a jousting lance.
Dizzy Horse Course: a simple obstacle course where players ride a hobby horse through the course.
Dragon Slay: a 9ft inflatable dragon that players try to ‘slay’ with a bow and foam tipped arrows.

When is the Quest available?
The Quest for the Golden Keys is available from April to November – weather permitting.
How long does it take?
The Quest for the Golden Keys has a play time from start to finish of about 2.5 hours. That time is for team of 2-6 players and up to 60 total participants.
If you have more total participants or would like to have smaller teams, additional time may be added to your games time for an additional fee.
Where can the event take place?
The Quest requires a fairly large amount of indoor or outdoor space. For indoor events we recommend a location like a school gymnasium or similar large open spaces. The game would also be able to be split up into several conference rooms/classrooms and hallways as well. For outdoor events, large yards or sports fields are suitable as well as paved parking lots.

Is there an age requirement?
There is no age requirement but the game is more suitable for ages 6 and up (with the accompaniment of an adult).
Some of the physical challenge stations may be difficult for smaller children to complete alone and adult assistance may be required.
How many people can I have on my team?
There is no maximum number of players per team however we recommend keeping it to groups of less than 6 as you will be taking turns participating in the challenge stations.
What is the cost?
One full game run through of The Quest for the Golden Keys (2.5 hours) is available for the price of $500. This time frame is recommended for teams of 2-6 players and up to 60 total participants.
Prices vary for additional time added to your event based on number of participants or length of your event.
What do we need to bring the day of the Quest?
Comfortable walking shoes, you will be walking around and participating in simple physical challenges.
Dressing appropriately for the weather is also recommended if your quest will be outdoors.
Do I need to sign a contract?
Yes. A proposal for your event will be sent via email along with a contract to be reviewed that contains all of the requirements and policies. Your event is not considered booked until this contract is completed and returned to Live Action Escapes and the deposit has been paid.
What is the cancellation/reschedule policy?
If for any reason you need to change the event date after you have made the deposit, you may do so up to one week before your event. If you reschedule within a week of your event a rebooking fee of $75 will apply. All deposits are non-refundable.
If we rent The Quest, can we charge an admission fee?
Yes! We are more than happy to allow for an admission fee to be charged in order to raise money for your fundraiser or charity events. Please contact us at PuzzleMaster@LiveActionEscapes.com for more information.
Are there prizes?
You may have prizes for your participants at the end of your event.
Live Action Escapes does not provide prizes for your event.
